Mr. Prasad is a senior partner in the firm heads the Bangalore practice of the firm and brings with him rich experience in employment disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and obtaining or defending applications for injunctions in relation to restrictive covenants, confidential information or intellectual property. He deals with all aspects of employment law that manages and enhances the employment relationship from recruitment through business reorganizations, discipline and grievance to outsourcing, compromise agreements and severance packages. Mr. Prasad also deals with negotiating and advising on the terms of compromise agreements; bringing and defending disputes in the Labor Courts and High Court; drafting and updating of companies’ employment policy handbook to reflect legislative changes; and drafting employment contracts.

Mr. Prasad has also represented various Indian as well as foreign companies, including real estate developers, on issues relating to constitutional validity of Securitization Act, banking litigations, arbitration matters. He has been a lawyer for Bangalore Mahanagara Palike, a municipal corporation, wherein dealt with taxation matters concerning municipal corporations apart from the entire gamut of litigation concerning municipal corporations. He has dealt with administrative law in depth while handling writs on original side, questioning the quasi-judicial orders and also before quasi-judicial authorities. He is also empaneled on behalf of the firm with the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd for all environmental, power and electricity matters in the state of Karnataka and National Green Tribunal along with the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
